David Schottky, has been our Church Administrator since 1995.  He graduated from University of Oregon in Business (1979) and earned his MBA at Golden Gate University. Prior to coming to Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church, he was the Business Manager at First Baptist Church in downtown Sacramento and at Fremont Presbyterian Church, also in Sacramento. Back in the early 80’s he was a missionary in Eastern Europe with the Navigators.

"This is a tremendously busy church and it keeps me very busy," says David. He juggles many things, such as the Finance Department, Buildings and Grounds, Personnel, Stewardship and Building Program(s).  He still tries to make time for individual member with questions. It is quite a challenge!

In his spare time he likes to go on day hikes, especially in the Sierras and at the coast, but anywhere outdoors. He also enjoys roller coasters; the faster, the better!

David has been married 22 years to Rachel. They have two teenagers, D.J. and Amber.
