Money is important in the world we live -- often inappropriately so. Jesus often talked about the power of money. One of the things He said in Luke 12:34 is that “…where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” The Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 9:7 that “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” As we continue to learn how to worship and live for God, we also believe that joyful surrender of our financial lives helps us grow and also builds His church.
We have many ways to donate to Christ’s ministry here at FOPC. You may give on Sundays as the offering plate passes, mail it or drop it off in the church office during the week, or donate online.
We have 4 main funds: |
| Ministry fund: |
This is the fund that we use for ongoing ministry at the church. All offerings help fund the ministries and human resources. |
| Mission fund: |
Donations help other ministries in the community and world. |
| Building Fund: |
FOPC facilities provide a home base to our ministries and a place to share with our community. We have very exciting plans to expand our campus by building a future Children’s and Youth building. Stay tuned! |
| Deacons Fund: |
When financial crisis hits and every resource has failed, people can turn to God and His Church. Your contributions to the benevolence Fund support FOPC in providing financial guidance and short term assistance to those in need. |
