What a terrific way to begin a marriage! You're back from the honeymoon, the "Thank You" notes have been sent, the extra toasters and dish towels have been returned: Now what? Each month, a group of 5-7 couples meet together to prepare for life after the wedding. They learn more about marriage and their partner in several areas: the nature of love, family background, communication, conflict resolution, financial planning and realistic expectations.
A trained, happily married couple leads each group and classes include instruction with plenty of "alone time" for couples to respond to each issue privately. The premise of these classes is "Love is a Decision."
Each class involves 20 hours spread out over the course of a month, plus a scheduled, private consultation with the instructor-couple. A new class typically begins each month and normally meets on weekends. The class fee of $100 covers all of the excellent materials. Please note: Pre-registration is required.
