Women's Ministry PDF Print E-mail

Let's Hear it for Women's Ministries!

There are all kinds of opportunities for women to participate and serve in ministry at FOPC. Most every area of ministry is open to women, but we also set aside important times when it is good to be “only the girls". All of these ministry areas are dedicated to providing spiritual, social and emotional support to women.

Participation in EPW is open to all women, church members or not. Our group comes together for friendship, fellowship, and encouragement. Our goal is to grow and nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study, and to support the mission of the church. We actively support FOPC's Outreach and Mission Program as well as other local and worldwide ministries, with an emphasis on women and children's needs.

The EPW gets together once a month as a large group for fun, food, and fellowship. Our meetings feature a guest speaker and, in addition, we get together in small groups called Circles. Circle groups meet once a month for Bible Study, fellowship, and mutual support.

Each year, on the first Saturday of November, we hold a Craft Fair at the church. All proceeds from the Craft Fair go to mission projects both local and worldwide.

Please come join the warm, informal, inter-generational fellowship of women working for the benefit of our church and community, while nurturing spiritual growth.

Contact Moderator, Ronda Biondi (singingronda@hotmail.com) for additional information or questions.
